THE LAW OF GOD EQUATES ABORTION WITH MURDER

It is written in the Bible, in Exodus 21: 22-25, as follows:

22 If men strive, and hurt a pregnant woman, and her child come out, and there be no disaster, he shall be surely punished, according as the woman's husband will lay upon him; and he shall pay as the judges determine.

23 And if there be disaster, then thou shalt give life for life,

24 Eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot,

25 Burning for burning, wound for wound, stripe for stripe.

Therefore, we see that God has determined that if men quarrel and injure a pregnant woman and so she give birth before the right time, so that the baby be born premature but survive, and the woman do not die, and both the woman and her son do not have any bodily injury, the one who caused the premature birth must be punished with a fine, and that, if the fetus die, so that the baby be born dead, or if the baby be born premature and then die, the one who caused the abortion be condemned to death, and that, if the woman die, the one who caused her death be condemned to death, and that, if the woman or her child be left with any bodily injury, the one who caused the injury be punished with the same injury that he caused to the woman or to her son.

Some people say that these verses show that God has determined that the crime of abortion be punished only with a fine, but this is not true, because in the said verses it is written that only if there be only anticipation of the birth the offender must be punished only with a fine, and that, if the baby or the woman die, we must give life for life, that is, the perpetrator of the crime must be punished with the death penalty, as the murder, because it is written in the Bible, in Leviticus 24:17 that God said the following: "And anyone who kill any human life, shall certainly be killed."

Yahveh bless you.
