ARE THE BLACKS CURSED?
Some people say that the blacks are cursed.
These people say that Noah cursed his son Ham, who
generated Cush, of whom the blacks descend, and they cite the passage Genesis
9:20-27 as base for their allegations.
However, in Genesis 9:20-27 it is not written that
Noah cursed Ham, because there it is written that Noah only cursed Canaan, who
was one of the children of Ham.
See the passage in question:
GN 9.20 AND
NOAH BEGAN TO BE A HUSBANDMAN, AND PLANTED A VINEYARD:
GN 9.21 AND
HE DRANK OF THE WINE, AND WAS DRUNKEN. AND HE WAS UNCOVERED WITHIN HIS TENT.
GN 9.22 AND
HAM, THE FATHER OF CANAAN, SAW THE NAKEDNESS OF HIS FATHER, AND TOLD HIS TWO
BRETHREN WITHOUT.
GN 9.23 AND
SHEM AND JAPHETH TOOK A GARMENT, AND LAID IT UPON BOTH THEIR SHOULDERS, AND
WENT BACKWARD, AND COVERED THE NAKEDNESS OF THEIR FATHER. AND THEIR FACES WERE
BACKWARD, AND THEY SAW NOT THEIR FATHER'S NAKEDNESS.
GN 9.24 AND
NOAH AWOKE FROM HIS WINE, AND KNEW WHAT HIS YOUNGEST SON HAD DONE UNTO HIM.
GN 9.25 AND
HE SAID, CURSED BE CANAAN; A SERVANT OF SERVANTS SHALL HE BE UNTO HIS BRETHREN.
GN 9.26 AND
HE SAID, BLESSED BE YAHVEH, THE GOD OF SHEM; AND LET CANAAN BE HIS SERVANT.
GN 9.27 GOD ENLARGE JAPHETH, AND LET HIM DWELL IN THE
TENTS OF SHEM; AND LET CANAAN BE HIS SERVANT.
In the verse Genesis 9:25 it is written: Cursed be
Canaan.
Therefore, we see that only Canaan was cursed by Noah,
so that the other children of Ham, among whom is Cush, of whom the blacks
descend, were not cursed.
So, it is verified that the blacks are not
cursed.
In Psalms 68:32 it is written that Ethiopia shall soon
stretch out her hands unto God.
The Hebrew word that is translated as Ethiopia is
Cush, which is the name of the ancestor of the Ethiopians and of the other
blacks.
Therefore, we see that the Bible says that the blacks
will soon stretch out their hands unto God.
There are black Jews in Ethiopia, and many of them
migrated to Israel.
The racists are cursed, because it is written in
Leviticus 19:18 that God commanded us to love our neighbor as ourselves, and
the racists do not obey this commandment of God, because they do not love their
neighbor, and it is written in Deuteronomy 28:15 that God said that those who
do not obey His commandments are cursed.
